These policies outline the appropriate usage of The Brokers of Resources For the Improvement of Generations Company (The BRIG Co.) logos, content, research, and intellectual property (IP). Any use outside of the permissions described here requires prior written consent. If your intended use is not covered in this policy, a request form is available at the bottom of this page. Failure to comply with these policies may result in legal action.

II. Authorization to use The BRIG Co. educational resources
The BRIG Co. creates free and accessible campaigns and educational materials, including guides containing fact sheets, templates, and social media assets, to support mental health advocacy. When using The BRIG Co. resources, you agree to the following conditions:

Original Format: You may use guide materials in their original format for non-commercial, educational purposes without additional permission or attribution to The BRIG Co.
Logo Use: You may not add your logo or remove The BRIG Co.'s logo from materials without written permission.
Customization: You may customize certain elements such as drop-in articles, proclamations, and social media posts to the extent they are designed to be customized and distributed. You may not remove The BRIG Co.'s name, branding, or other attribution tags when customizing and distributing these materials. You may not alter fact sheets, worksheets, posters, or other content without permission.
Excerpts: You may include excerpts from MHA educational materials in other educational materials, but you must credit The BRIG Co. using the following format: [Year]. [Guide/resource name]. The Brokers of Resources For the Improvement of Generations Company. [Campaign webpage].
Distribution: PDF resources can only be linked directly to The BRIG Co. webpage or PDF link. They cannot be hosted on other sites, and we encourage linking to The BRIG Co.' resource webpages.
Translation: Users may translate any excerpts or information that can be edited or adapted according to item 3 so long as the translations are accurate, adhere to the true nature of the content, and in no way stray from the source material’s original intent. If users wish to translate any fact sheets or worksheets, they should contact us. 
Commercial Use: Use of The BRIG Co. educational materials for commercial, non-educational purposes is strictly prohibited. Use of The BRIG Co. educational materials for commercial educational purposes requires prior written consent, except for the inclusion of credited excerpts within educational materials in accordance with item 4 above.

Using The BRIG Co. resources does not grant any rights beyond those stated. The BRIG Co. retains copyright ownership.
Usage does not grant permission to use the The BRIG Co. logo or imply partnership.
Usage does not imply The BRIG Co. endorsement of your services, product, or organization.
The BRIG Co. may modify these permissions at any time. By using these materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Failure to comply may result in legal action.

III. Authorization to use The BRIG Co. research reports
The BRIG Co. publishes research reports, based on both proprietary as well as public data, to inform the public and policymakers. When using The BRIG Co. reports, you agree to the following terms:

Excerpts: You may reference MHA reports and reproduce limited excerpts for educational and academic purposes with proper citation: [Year]. [Report name]. The Brokers of Resources For the Improvement of Generations Company. [Report webpage].
Digital Distribution: The BRIG Co. reports must be accessed from its website. Hosting the PDFs elsewhere is prohibited.
Print Distribution: Written permission is required for reprinting reports. Please complete the request form to start the process.

IV. Authorization to use The BRIG Co. website content
All content on thebrigco.net including articles, images, and videos, is copyrighted by The BRIG Co. or its partners. Use of this content without The BRIG Co.'s written consent is prohibited. You must also adhere to the following:

Prohibited Uses: Content may not be copied, altered, or distributed without prior consent.
Web Crawling: Data scraping or web crawling is prohibited except by search engines for indexing purposes.
Authorized Use: If you obtain written consent to use website content, the following apply:
Content must be used as-is for non-commercial purposes.
Any reproduction must include the notice: “Copyright © The Brokers of Resources For the Improvement of Generations Company [year of publication]. All Rights Reserved” and a citation line.
The BRIG Co. can revoke authorization at any time.

V. Authorization to use The BRIG Co. social media content
You may share, repost, or like The BRIG Co. social media content on social media in its original form and using the native capabilities of the social media platform on which The BRIG Co. originally posted the content.
Altering The BRIG Co. social media content for reuse is prohibited without prior written permission.
Any other use, reuse, or distribution of The BRIG Co. social media content is prohibited unless the activity is an approved educational use that complies with Section II above.

VI. Fundraising on behalf of The BRIG Co.
As a nonprofit, The BRIG Co. relies on grants, donations, and fundraising activities to fund its work. Please note that raising funds on behalf of MHA does not imply that The BRIG Co. endorses you, your product, or your organization, and does not give you permission to use The BRIG Co. logo or branding.

VII. Unauthorized usage of The BRIG Co. logo, products, and trademarked content
The BRIG Co. does not permit the use of its logos, name, or content in marketing, advertising, or promotional materials without written authorization and payment of applicable licensing fees.
No one may use a name that is confusingly similar to The BRIG Co. trademarks unless approved.
Merchandise bearing The BRIG Co. trademarks cannot be sold or distributed without prior approval and payment of applicable licensing fees.
The BRIG Co. can revoke any granted authorization or license, requiring immediate discontinuation of use.
